A Native South African, Willem van Wyk now lives with his family in beautiful Medford, OR. Willem started playing piano at the age of three. His parents bought an electric organ, hopeful that his sister might pursue an interested in music. To their surprise, Willem, one day after church, came home, climbed up on the organ chair and with his feet dangling miles away from the foot pedals, his tiny fingers swiveled over the keys, playing the exact song he just heard in church. Then they knew, the organ was actually meant for him and that he had a talent for playing by ear. That was the beginning of a life filled with music.
